Fees

Design Consultations (smaller projects)

$100 per hour

Minimum 2 hours for an open consultation.

Additional time is billed at $25 per 15 minutes

Travel time applies if distance is in excess of 30 minutes and I am unable to coordinate with another appointment.

Open consultation includes an in-person/on-site session covering general ideas and brainstorming, paint colours, furniture placement, decorative opportunities (such as wallpaper, trim, tile, custom finishes, artwork), and the development of visual tools or mock-ups where helpful 

Design Development & Ongoing Involvement 

After an initial consultation, there are times when I continue to develop a design with the expectation that it may lead to ongoing involvement in the project.

In these cases, I discuss the client’s overall budget early on and work with them to ensure my fee is factored in, so the scope and outline align with what they are expecting.

Any continued work beyond the initial consultation is discussed and agreed in advance. 

Project management (larger projects)

For larger or more complex projects, fees are determined once my role and required services are clearly defined.

I typically work under re-negotiable, fixed-term contracts of 1-6 months (depending on the scope and stage of the project). Each contract outlines expectations, scope and anticipated completion, with the option to extend or renew if needed. 

Paint finishes, Wallpapering & Specialist Work 

Estimates for any painting, decorative finishes, wallpapering or specialist work are provided separately, based on scope and materials.
